Sleeping Bear Cabin is conveniently located in historic Fairplay just 25 miles south of Breckenridge. You will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the surrounding 14,000 foot mountains. Within walking distance, Fairplay has an area called the Fairplay Beach that has fantastic fishing. There are even places to pan for gold within walking distance. In the evening, relax and stargaze from the two large decks or grill burgers on the patio behind the home.

The main living area has a gas fireplace and a queen futon for extra sleeping room. There is a master bedroom on the main level with a queen bed and a full size bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a twin bed and a TV with lots of toys for the kids. The other bedroom upstairs has two twin beds. It is a kids paradise.

There are great trails for hiking or biking in the summer and show shoeing in the winter. Skiing in Breckenridge is only 25 minutes away.

This home is in the heart of all outdoor activities in the Rocky Mountains. In the Fall you will be in the heart of some of the most amazing aspen groves around. There are plenty of scenic views to stop at and admire the gorgeous aspen leaves turning golden orange and yellow. You will also be only 25 minutes from world-class skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer at Breckenridge.  Keystone is only 45 minutes away and Buena Vista is about 25 minutes from the home which has the best whitewater rafting in Colorado. If hiking to a ghost town sounds like fun, you will be in the right place. Nearby Alma offer mining ghost towns to explore and Boreas Pass is just minutes away.  If you are looking for challenging 4-wheel drives, you can cross Mosquito Pass to Silverton. Buena Vista is the location of the famous ghost town of St. Elmo. Whatever your outdoor hobby may be, you will be minutes away. The best fishing in Colorado includes the nearby Jefferson Lake, Tarrayall Reservoir, Lake Antero, Lake George, and Eleven-Mile Reservoir. As for shopping you can choose from the antique stores in nearby Como, Fairplay, and Buena Vista or the outlet malls in Silverthorne.
