Hoosier Ridge Retreat

Hoosier Ridge Retreat is an amazing custom cabin which has breath-taking views of the Continental Divide and Montgomery Reservoir. It is within walking distance to the reservoir, Montgomery, mine and numerous hiking trails and 4-Wheel Drive Trails. The home is only 12 miles from Colorado's world-class Breckenridge ski resort. Copper Mountain, Keystone, and A-Basin are also less than 30 minutes away. Access to the main highway (Highway 9) is less than 3 minutes so there are no long drives on dirt roads to get to all of the fun activities in the area.

This custom home has 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an adjoining bath. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has a twin futon bed. The main level has a great room with a wood-burning stove. The room opens to the deck with gorgeous views of the white-capped mountains. The full kitchen has every amenity you could need for your stay and is modern with modern appliances.

Downstairs, there is a huge recreation room/living room with a wide-screen TV. There is an additional bathroom downstairs as well as a large laundry room. The great room on the main level opens to an immense deck with fabulous views. The lower living room also opens to an additional deck with the same amazing views.

If you like outdoor activities and quiet and solitude, this is the cabin for you. If you enjoy fishing, grab your pole and take a walk down to Montgomery Reservoir to catch your breakfast. You will be surrounded by outdoor and indoor activities. Whether your passion is skiing, shopping, hunting, ice-fishing, or horseback riding, you will find the best of the best within minutes of the home. There are two lakes within 2-3 minutes of the home as well as old mines, hiking trails, snowshoeing, and 4-wheel trails. Montgomery Lake and Lincoln Falls are within one mile of he home. One of the best ice-climbing areas in Colorado is right by Montgomery Lake. We will be happy to arrange hay rides,  horseback riding, fishing trips, or just make suggestions as to the activities in the area.
